Father-daughter dances are some of the most emotional moments we witness here at Lakeside Ranch 
There’s something so powerful about that quiet pause in the middle of a busy celebration… when the music slows, and a father holds his little girl—who isn’t so little anymore. It’s a moment filled with memories of scraped knees, bedtime stories, laughter, and years that seemed to pass in the blink of an eye.
You can see it in his eyes… pride, love, and a touch of letting go. And in hers, gratitude for the man who guided her, protected her, and stood beside her through every season of life.
As a mom of boys, these moments always touch my heart a little deeper. I find myself imagining the day they’ll be standing there, sharing that same kind of love and connection.
It’s more than just a dance… it’s a lifetime wrapped into a few beautiful minutes on the dance floor. And it’s truly an honor to witness it here at the ranch.

Set up is exciting. It’s the moment when the ranch starts to come to life and you can feel the energy building for the celebration ahead. Tables going up, music playing, decorations coming together, and knowing that in just a few hours this beautiful place will be filled with smiles, laughter, and memories being made. Peacocks hanging out by the ceremony site today… like they know something beautiful is about to happen At Lakeside Ranch, even the wildlife shows up for the love stories—adding a little extra magic, a little extra charm, and a whole lot of “only in Florida” beauty.  Just another reminder that nature is always part of the celebration here.

Looking forward to hosting Calvary Church’s women’s conference for the second year at the ranch. It’s such an honor to welcome a group of strong, faith-filled women back to a place that celebrates connection, encouragement, and purpose. There’s something so special about watching women come together, lift each other up, and create meaningful moments that last far beyond the day. Grateful to be part of it again.
