I was born and raised in Tampa, but there’s something special about the warmth and small-town charm you find here that just stays with you.
Over the past 14 years, I’ve had the honor of hosting nearly 700 events at the Ranch—and it never gets old. One of my favorite parts of living in a town like this is running into past clients out and about. Those moments when someone stops to share a memory from their wedding or special event… it means everything.
In a small town, you’re not just a business—you’re part of people’s stories. You’re remembered. And I feel incredibly lucky to live here, do what I love, and be a small part of so many meaningful moments.

Father-daughter dances are some of the most emotional moments we witness here at Lakeside Ranch 
There’s something so powerful about that quiet pause in the middle of a busy celebration… when the music slows, and a father holds his little girl—who isn’t so little anymore. It’s a moment filled with memories of scraped knees, bedtime stories, laughter, and years that seemed to pass in the blink of an eye.
You can see it in his eyes… pride, love, and a touch of letting go. And in hers, gratitude for the man who guided her, protected her, and stood beside her through every season of life.
As a mom of boys, these moments always touch my heart a little deeper. I find myself imagining the day they’ll be standing there, sharing that same kind of love and connection.

]]><![CDATA[New Blog!]]>Tue, 08 Apr 2025 20:16:21 GMThttps://www.thelakesideranches.com/blog/new-blogI am Kaley and I am starting this blog today.  I have just wrapped up a busy wedding season here at Lakeside Ranch.  This is my first season back since moving home to Inverness, Florida.  I now live here on the ranch as I operate the family agri-tourism business.  For the last few years we had other operators onsite and now that I have permanently moved home I am the only person running the wedding and special event business here at Lakeside Ranch.  The transition has been smooth.  We have 2 event venues here at the ranch.  We are in close proximity to Tampa, Ocala, Orlando, and Gainesville areas.  Our main location is located in Inverness, Fl very close to downtown Inverness.  We offer spacious indoor and outdoor areas; customizable layouts for dining, dancing, and photos; a preferred vendor list or bring your own; vendor coordination and parking; inclusive and DIY packages.  We have all the amenities you could wish for or need to have an amazing and perfect wedding or special event.  

This weekend we are preparing for Crystal River's Prom here at our Large White Barn.  This is our third year hosting the Prom for Crystal River High School.  We are excited to have it again here at the Ranch.  We are celebrating with the students and staff Saturday night.  The mood is set with our dreamy rustic setting, warm wood finishes, glowing string lights, and an atmosphere that feels straight out of a fairytale.  Whether you are imagining a country-chic night or a romantic garden-style prom, our venue brings it all to life.  At Lakeside Ranch we hope to make a special impression on the students, families, and staff so that they have a memorable experience and return again soon.   I will post follow up pictures after this weekend.  

Review of the Day! I am going to post from time to time special reviews that catch my attention.  We work for weeks and months here at the ranch to prepare for our weddings and special events and when the client takes time to put it in writing we really appreciate it.  Here goes....

Kaley was an absolute dream to work with. She made the entire planning process so smooth and stress-free. Even though we’re local to Florida, we weren’t local to the venue itself, and Kaley went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information we needed - not just about the venue, but about the surrounding area as well.
